E. Dan Gibson, CBI M&AMI
Mr. Gibson is the owner of Exit Equity and a Merger and Acquisition Master Intermediary, providing 35 years of business experience. His career started at Xerox PARC, where many of the technology products of today initially were developed and sold worldwide, then continued in the technology manufacturing IPO stage with Fortune Systems, participating in a $140 million raise. Mr. Gibson ended his public company career working for Dell Computer, negotiating large-scale integration projects such as Weyerhaeuser, IBM, DHL, Microsoft and Boeing and consummated the largest contract ever for Dell Computer – an $850 million sole source, 10-year outsourcing contract. In addition, Mr. Gibson has general business experience in: early stage IPOs, various technology manufacturing, complex contract management and negotiations, and most recently, 16 years in the merger & acquisition industry focusing on privately-held small to mid market companies whose transactions cover a wide range of industry types, including various industries' niche products and services. Mr. Gibson graduated from East Central University in Oklahoma with a BS degree in Biology and Chemistry and performed post-graduate work in management at the Xerox Management Institute. Terry Coe, MBA CBI
Mr. Coe's business career spans 30 years, primarily built around helping small and medium sized, private companies grow and develop post acquisition or pre sale. Early on experience included industrial and medical sales in dynamic environments working with small to medium sized clients. Transitioning into media and publishing in the mid 1980's and subsequently the Internet arena, Mr. Coe was a central figure in the execution of numerous acquisitions that built a single market company into a national media firm with thirteen markets. Subsequent experience included leading a turn around effort in Seattle that revived a declining media property and produced a 680% increase in profitability over four years, contributing to the successful sale of the company. Prior to his M&A activities, Mr. Coe served as a Principal of Terrell M. Coe and Associates, a firm providing operations and performance improvement in the media and small business environment. Mr. Coe is a graduate of the Mason School of Business at The College of William and Mary in Virginia and also holds an MBA degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a resident of Mercer Island, Washington where he lives with his wife and two sons, serves on several community Boards of Directors including most recently as President of Mercer Island Little League.
