Dan Gibson

E. Dan Gibson, CBI – Exit Equity LLC

 Mr. Gibson is the owner of Exit Equity and a Certified Business Intermediary, providing 35 years of business experience. His career started at Xerox PARC, where many of the technology products of today initially were developed and sold worldwide, then continued in the technology manufacturing IPO stage with Fortune Systems, participating in a $140 million raise.

Mr. Gibson ended his public company career working for Dell Computer, negotiating large-scale integration projects such as Weyerhaeuser, IBM, DHL, Microsoft and Boeing and consummated the largest contract ever for Dell Computer – an $850 million sole source, 10-year outsourcing contract. In addition, Mr. Gibson has general business experience in: early stage IPOs, various technology manufacturing, complex contract management and negotiations, and most recently, 11 years in the merger & acquisition industry focusing on privately-held small to mid-size companies whose transactions cover a wide range of industry types, including various industries' niche products and services.

Just prior to Mr. Gibson's merger & acquisition and advisory career, he managed his own portfolio of companies, having completed a regional roll-up with private financing. He understands the inside of the transaction, both from the buyer and the seller perspective. Mr. Gibson graduated from East Central University in Oklahoma with a BS degree in Biology and Chemistry and performed post-graduate work in management at the Xerox Management Institute.

Anand Divekar, MS, MBA, CM&AA

Mr. Divekar writes and speaks on topics of interest to the M&A and information technology market segments. He specializes in M&A services, business operational improvements and strategic information technology. Mr. Divekar has worked with private and public clients in a range of areas including M&A, litigation support, divestiture planning, market analysis, competitor analysis, technology and market trends, as well as strategic IT domains including IT audits, governance and risk management, outsourcing management, and business process improvement. His business experience includes management of PMO’s and project portfolios for various Fortune 500 clients.  

A Certified M&A Advisor (CM&AA), he is an alumnus of Bearing Point, Deloitte Consulting and Verizon Communications. He holds a B.S. in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, M.S. in Computer Science from Clemson University, S.C. and an M.B.A. in Corporate Finance from PACE University, NY.

Mr. Hendricks has been a member of The Alliance of Mergers & Acquisition Analysts since its inception in late 2000. He has over 35 years of experience in business and financial management ranging from start-up companies to turn arounds and distressed businesses, directly involved in over 40 business ventures as an investor, executive, officer, board member, and advisor.

 

As a member of the Leadership Institute, of the Chamber of Commerce since 1998, Mr. Hendricks focuses on the development and growth of sustainable communities and industries. Since 1986, he has been President and Managing Partner of BEC Advisors, a leading mergers & acquisition firm responsible for the financing, merger & acquisition of over 40 businesses, and a variety of commercial real estate projects approaching $2.5 billion in value. Mr. Hendricks is active in the local political arena and has extensive business, as well as political, contacts in the Northwest venue. He was formerly the Host of the Entrepreneur Radio Network on KVI Radio in Seattle.

Mr. Rogstad began his career as a financial analyst with the HW Blackstock Co. in 1981. He founded Duroboat Company, and as President managed the company, selling it in 2001. Mr. Rogstad provides valuation and financial consulting for our mergers & acquisitions firm specializing in manufacturing, service, and distribution companies in the small to mid-size range. His real-world perspective enhances the business valuation practice as a result of 20 years of experience in construction and manufacturing and 5 years of experience dealing with valuation issues in the M&A industry.

Mr. Rogstad holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, a Masters of Business Administration/ Finance from Washington State University, and an Accredited Valuation Analyst for the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysis serving the divestiture, merger & acquisition industry.
